Appointments can be made via my online booking system: magicmirror.glossgenius.com
Currently, all appointments will be made available on the 15th of each month at 2:00pm CST and they are first come-first serve. If the link to online booking is down, that means all appointments for the month are full. These appointments are booked a month in advance. Please note my booking site requires card info to schedule and secure your appointment. If you cancel or miss your appointment, you will be charged a fee. If you need to reschedule I will not be able to find an alternative appointment until bookings go live the following month. If you need to reschedule or change your appointment, please contact me.
Consultations are not required to book but if you have previous work done please email me a few clear, well lit photos of your brows. Cover ups, or reworking older brows is not always possible and can require removal first in some cases. Consults can be done by phone or FaceTime by appointment.

Microblading is the technique of applying pigment into the upper, superficial layer of the skin (dermis) to enhance or correct the symmetry and fullness of your eyebrows. Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists hand draw each hair to match the color and coarseness of your eyebrows. This process creates a natural, semi-permanent result, imitating real hair strokes to create gorgeous, natural looking eyebrows.
-
Microshading adds volume to the brow. Also known as powder brows or ombre brows, it should look like you likely filled in your brows with makeup. It can also be combined with microblading to create a fuller effect.
-
Nano is a cosmetic tattoo procedure made to replicate the look of real eyebrow hairs, to fill in sparse areas, and create a natural full brow shape. Nano Brows could be a preferred option over microblading for those with sensitive or mature skin, due to its less invasive nature and digital precision when it come to a more shallow pigment placement within the skin. Results last longer and heal faster than microblading.

Lip blushing is the technique of covering the lips in a soft wash of color. Can last 3-4 years. It can help fix imbalances and cover signs of aging in the lips. Lip blushing isn't lip filler.
-
The pigments used in cosmetic tattooing are semi-permanent (meaning it will fade, but not completely) and will need to be refreshed anywhere from 1-4 years. In order to keep your brows looking fresh, a touch up is recommended.
For clients that choose a softer look and lighter color shade initially or those who did not follow the after care instructions properly may require more frequent touch ups. Factors that will cause your tattoo to fade faster:
Iron deficiency
Sun exposure
Exfoliants
Strong immune systems and metabolism
Exposure to salt water
Smoking

A highly-effective, topical anesthetic cream and gel are used for numbing before and during your procedure. Pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the entirety of the procedure.
Having this service performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during your procedure. If you are a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the treatment will not last as long. If you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, be aware that this may affect your sensitivity tolerance to the procedure.
How to Care for Your New Cosmetic Tattoo
BROWS:
We have had the best results with this simple healing method and it makes it easier for everyone! We recommend washing the tattooed area GENTLY 2 times a day with lukewarm water, mild soap and clean finger tips. Pat the area dry and apply a THIN layer of the product that has been supplied to you. Keep it out of the sun throughout the healing process. Do not apply ANY cosmetics in this area and avoid sweating for AT LEAST 7-10 days. Keep the area clean and let it breathe! That's it!
LIPS:
Apply ointment on lips several times a day. Keep lips moist at all times. Avoid oily, spicy and heavily seasoned food and drink with a straw. After every meal gently rinse and clean lips with water and pat dry, then re-apply ointment.
What to Expect
Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker and bolder in color and more sharply defined. This can last up to a week after the treatment while the initial healing process takes place. The treated area may feel a bit like sunburn afterwards but there should be minimal discomfort.
During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is some scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own.
The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks, at which time the true color of the tattoo is evident. During this process, your tattoo will soften and lighten. Be patient, even if you think too much color has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating. Wait at least 6 weeks to see the true color, as it seems to take on new strength, and it is only after 6-8 weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done.
What Not to Do
You may shower or bathe normally, but avoid getting any soaps, shampoos or other cleansers on the treated area for the first five days as they can be detrimental to the bonding process that must take place for the pigment to stabilize in the dermis.
DO NOT pick or scratch at the dry skin/flakiness; let the skin fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring and premature loss of pigment. IMPORTANT: Once the flakes have fallen off, a shiny layer of healing skin will completely cover the hair strokes. It may appear as though the tattooed area has completely disappeared. Within 1-2 weeks, the hair strokes will slowly reappear at a lighter shade as your skin regenerates.
DO NOT apply make-up to the tattooed area for the first 2 weeks. Cosmetics of any kind may interfere with the healing and color of your tattoo.
DO NOT use Vaseline, Neosporin or other petroleum based products while healing.
DO NOT bleach, tint or dye the tattooed area for one month following the procedure.
DO NOT apply any anti-acne products (e.g. Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Proactiv, etc.) or lightening creams (skin bleaching creams) such as hydroquinone to the treated area while healing.
No anti-aging products or facial products containing Alpha Hydroxyls (AHAs), Retin- A, Lactic or Glycolic Acids
Do not thread, wax, or use hair removal products on the treated area while healing.
NO exercising and/or sweating for a few days prior to getting tattooed and for two week after.
NO swimming pools, jacuzzis or other bodies of water for two weeks.
Do not soak your face underwater in a bathtub or allow the shower to spray directly in your face for two weeks.
